Daniel Leeman
Dan Leeman is a band teacher at Carl Ben Eielson Middle School in Fargo, ND. Originally from the Twin Cities area, Mr. Leeman graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in music education from Concordia College-Moorhead. His primary instruments include tuba and trumpet and he has performed with the Concordia Band, orchestra, and jazz bands as well as the Prairie Winds Brass and the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Brass during his collegiate experience.
Mr. Leeman served as a student conductor of the Concordia Cobber band, president of Concordia's CMENC chapter, and recently completed his student teaching at Lake Park Audubon Schools in Minnesota.
Mr. Leeman believes strongly in a comprehensive music education and the commissioning of new music. He hopes this website will help stimulate critical thinking and provide resources for other music educators.

Andrew Beard
Andrew
Beard is a choir director at Lake Middle School in Woodbury, MN where he is part of a faculty in music that works with each student in the school at least two times per week.
Mr.
Beard graduated from Concordia College - Moorhead, MN with a Bachelor of Music degree in Choral Music Education. In addition to studying Conducting with Dr. Rene Clausen, he sang in the Concordia Choir, Kantorei, and was Bass section leader in both. He was student conductor for Mannerchor (Freshmen male chorus), President of the ACDA collegiate chapter, and conducted the Grace United Methodist Church Sanctuary Choir for two years.
Mr.
Beard is a dedicated educator devoted to effective student learning and music advocacy. He is excited to bring Insightful Music to life with the intent of examining the way music is purchased, sold, and experienced.

Neal Raskin
Neal Raskin is an Instrumental Music Education major at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. His main performance area is the clarinet and he performs with the Concordia Band, Concordia Orchestra and several chamber ensembles. Neal has also performed with the Lyric Arts Theater Pit Orchestra, and the Northern Symphony Orchestra. Most recently, Neal was chosen as Senior Soloist for the Concordia Band and will perform with the band on its February tour.
Neal has served as Student Manager of the Wind Band Institute since 2007 and he is currently serving as President for the Concordia Orchestra. In addition, he has also served as Student Conductor for the Symphonia Orchestra and is currently one of three Student Conductors for the Echo Band. Neal is an advocate for music education in public schools and plans to begin his teaching career after graduation.
